Heatable textiles that are placed around the roots of plants to supply them with targeted warmth are being co-developed by three German partners: the Hohenstein Institute in Bonnigheim; Balingen-based roma-Strickstoff-Fabrik Rolf Mayer GmbH & Co KG; the State College of Horticulture and Agriculture in Stuttgart-Hohenheim (Die Staatsschule fur Gartenbau und Landwirtschaft Stuttgart-Hohenheim).
