An advance in the production of imitation grass, particularly that for sports surfaces, is proposed by a Dutch company. In European Patent EP 1 378 592, joint developers Ten Cate Thiolon BB of Nijverdal and DEXPlastomers VOF of Haarlem say their invention creates superior imitation blades and a better backing support.
