Synthetic grass can be made using a new type of manmade fibre developed in The Netherlands by Ten Cate Thiolon BV and Dex-Plastomers VOF. The joint developers say their materials is based on making a foil comprising a polymer and a plastomer and is intended to be used to make artificial grass suitable for sports fields.
