Organic PV growth forecast
Sales of materials for both ‘pure’ organic solar cells (OPV) and hybrid organic/inorganic dye-sensitized solar cells (DSC), are expected to reach almost US$600 million by 2016, according to a new report from NanoMarkets. The report goes on to note that materials firms willing to meet the small demands from organic PV manufacturers today stand a good chance of being rewarded with substantial orders.
