    Robotic muscle principle added to seating

    Oki Electric Industry has applied its advanced robotic technologies to a seating application and together with fellow Japanese company Okamura Corporation, a leading manufacturer of office furniture, has developed a concept model for seating based on the muscular movement of the body. The back and seat of the chair follow the movement of the user’s body from seating and reclining through to standing.
