A new medical textile company has recently opened its headquarters in Durham, North Carolina, USA. PurThread Technologies, described as "a developmentstage biotechnology firm dedicated to using antimicrobial textile technology to help hospitals reduce the bio-burden in the patient environment", chose the location for its access to key textile and medical industry players.
