Global nonwovens producer Polymer Group (PGI) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Barcelona, Spain-based Tesalca-Texnovo nonwovens businesses from Grupo Corinpa in a two-phase process. The purchase, still incomplete as Advances in Textiles Technology went to press, was due to close by the end of November 2009, subject to customary closing conditions.
