Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has granted final regulatory approval for Kinetic Concepts (KCI) to market and sell its VAC Therapy System in the country. Reimbursement applications have now been submitted. Operational preparations, including employee hiring, are under way for commercial launch at the time of reimbursement approval, which the company anticipates in the first half of 2010.
