A superabsorbent material with improved absorbency of complex aqueous fluids, such as body fluids like blood and menses, has been developed by Procter & Gamble. The material will find application in personal hygiene articles, such as feminine care absorbent products, says the company of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
