A joint venture has formed to produce, market and sell polypropylene (PP) fibres in South America. In the transaction, FiberVisions a/s has purchased 50% of Tel Rad Cuyo (TRC), the largest producer of PP fibres in South America, with a plant located in the San Juan province of Argentina. TRC will be renamed FiberVisions South America and the partners will work together to serve customers in the region.
