A conference entitled Innovations in Textiles 2009, to be held in London, UK, on 18-19 March 2009, will highlight smart, nano and technical textiles for medical, industrial and clothing applications. Organized by the Institute of Nanotechnology, speakers will include Dr Tofail Syed of the University of Limerick, Ireland, who will discuss challenges and opportunities for nanoparticles in medical textiles.
