The University of Tennessee has consolidated the 15 cm (six inch) and 50 cm (twenty inch) melt-blowing pilot lines and the analytical laboratory of its Textiles and Nonwovens Development Center (TANDEC) with the carding, coating and calendering laboratory of its Materials Science and Engineering department to form the University of Tennessee Nonwovens Research Laboratory (UTNRL).
