Kermel, a French manufacturer of protective clothing, is to supply its Kermel(r) V50 and VMC40 camouflage fabrics to the French Army. Both fabrics combine comfort, excellent durability and exceptional fire resistance and offer considerable improvements in standards for camouflage battledress, claims the company from Colmar. KermelV50 is used for summer wear and Kermel VMC40 for winter wear. Both fabrics have already been successfully tested by the French Army and the first battalions will be equipped with the camouflage battledress from late 2008.
