Polymer Group increases price of medical nonwovens
Nonwovens producer Polymer Group is introducing price increases of 5–7% on selected nonwovens roll goods used in medical and other applications, owing to sustained high raw material costs. Effective from 1 January 2008, the price increases will vary by product and primarily apply to those made from petroleum-based raw materials, including polyester and polypropylene.
