An improved finger,wrist and hand brace is disclosed in US Patent 7 278 980 by Weber Orthopedic. The device is said to temporarily immobilize the hand to allow a fracture of the neck of the fourth (ring) finger or little finger to heal with minimum disruption to the patient's normal activity.
