A smart bra that allows users to detect breast cancer at the earliest stage is expected to go into manufacture within the next couple of years. The device is being developed by the Centre for Materials Research & Innovation (CMRI) at the University of Bolton,UK,with support from RES,Russia; the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Association; the Greek national health service; and the Hong Kong Productivity Council.
