Following an investment of US$250 000 from the Slater Technology Fund, Concordia Manufacturing is to significantly expand the facilities at its operations in Coventry, Rhode Island, USA. The funding, which is part of an initial US$1.5 million in equity financing, will also be used to provide working capital for the company's growing fibre-based biomedical products business.
