Nanofibres stops bleeding
A self-assembling peptide solution that creates a nanofibre barrier could stop bleeding from wounds within 15 seconds, according to scientists in the USA and Hong Kong. The team says the technique could ultimately cut surgery times by half and reduce the need for blood transfusions.
