Researchers at the Textilforschungsinstitut Thuringen-Vogtland (TITV) of Greiz, Germany, have undertaken a project to produce optimized surgical fabrics for use in intra-abdominal surgical procedures. The aim is to develop reusable pro ducts that ensure fewer particles (lint) are produced, and which also meet strict medical requirements.
