Fashion has switched from simple denim to fabrics that have a used look and currently garments are being produced that appear to have been worn. Often these effects have been created by post-treatments such as stone washing.Now a new process (US Patent 7 070 847) has been developed which, the inventor claims, minimizes the loss of strength in the weft of a fabric caused by such treatments.
