Hungary's government has pledged a grant of HUF29 billion (approximately $14.5 million) to help Zoltek's Hungarian subsidiary modernize its facilities-- establishing a research and development centre and supporting a rapid build-up of manufacturing capacities for both its carbon fibre and the precursor raw material, acrylic fibre.
