Treatments based on silver ions improve the durability to high-temperature washing and reduce the discolouration of fabrics, according to USA's Milliken & Co. The treatment is intended to produce an aesthetically pleasing material that is highly wash-durable, even at high temperatures and offers antimicrobial and/or odour control.
