The Institute for Hygiene at the Berlin Humboldt Clinic, Germany, has published the results of a study on the risk of infection from curtains and drapes in hospitals. The tests were conducted on fabrics made from Trevira CS Bioactive, compared with those made from traditional polyester materials.
