A sanitary napkin or panty-liner (10) with a tack-free, high coefficient of friction (COF) backsheet (13) and self-release tape tabs (20a, 20b) is described in US Patent 6 932 802 by Personal Products Co, a Division of McNeil-PPC. The invention can also be applied to other absorbent hygiene articles, such as incontinence devices and baby diapers, says the company of Skillman,New Jersey, USA.
