Molnlycke Health Care has received the European CE mark for a class III medical device used in the treatment of hard-to-heal venous leg ulcers. The company of Gothenburg,Sweden, notes that only 22% of these ulcers heal within 24 weeks using limb compression bandages and moist wound healing, with around 20% remaining after two years of treatment.
