    Dressing for nasal passage injuries

    A wound dressing for treating injuries to nasal passages has been developed by Ferris Pharmaceuticals. Described in US Patent 6 768 040, the dressing consists of a flexible, porous polyurethane-based foam comprising a liquid-absorbing component in a cylindrical, conical or frustro-conical shape for insertion into a nasal cavity.
