A nonwoven surge material for personal care products is described in US Patent 6 781 027 by Kimberly-Clark. This is a nonwoven fabric made of a homogenous blend of large and small denier fibres, and will be suitable for use in diapers, training pants, incontinence products, bandages and sanitary napkins.
