Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics Canada Ltd has developed a polymer-coated knitted fabric that it believes has potential as insect screening. The construction may be produced using glass or polyester fibres and is then dip-coated with a synthetic polymer such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
