UK company T.G. Eakin of Comber, County Down, Northern Ireland, has devised an occlusion dressing that indicates when it should be changed-US Patent 6 559 351.Some details of the invention were published previously in International Patent WO99 12581 (see also Medical Textiles, December 2000, page 2).
