Acordis plans to take it steady on divestment strategy
Commenting on the divestment strategy adopted at the beginning of this decade, a senior spokesman for the Acordis group recently emphasized it is certainly not being forced on the company by raw economic necessity. He said no pressure is being placed on divestment at a time when the contemporary economic climate throughout the world has had a slowing effect on restructuring in the global fibre industry generally.
