The US Department of Energy is providing almost $2 million in stimulus funding to Inorganic Specialists Inc., based in Miamisburg, Ohio, to research energy storage and work to streamline the manufacturing of batteries that could accelerate the deployment of plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles.
