P2i has installed its latest ion-mask liquid-repellent nanocoating line for Adidas in Guangdong, China, with start-up slated for December. In charting the progress of his company at the fifth 'How to Enter Technical Textiles Symposium' in Edinburgh, Scotland, on 16 October, Stephen Coulson, P2i's Chief Technology Officer, said 15 such machines were now in place, primarily in Asia, but also in Germany, the UK, Spain and the USA. The proprietary lines are both for P2i's own production and those licensed to third parties.
