Applied Nanoscience Inc (ANI), based in Carlsbad, California, has signed a joint venture agreement with an unnamed Asian partner to produce a new disposable protective face mask. The mask will incorporate ANI's proprietary NanoFense technology, a US patent-pending antimicrobial nanoparticle formulation.
