ARmark Authentication Technologies has announced a partnership with Smiths Detection to launch IntelliMark, a complete system for verifying genuine brand and product authentication for consumer goods, secure documents, food and apparel. Two years ago ARmark introduced nanofibres as logo security fibres, custom-designing them to help brand owners combat the growing problem of counterfeiting. The nanofibres could be woven into textiles for use in garments, luggage, upholstery, handbags and other luxury items, as well as being employed in currency and security documents.
