There are growing market opportunities for carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as a flame retardant materials, according to a new report from Frost & Sullivan. The global flame retardant chemicals market is valued at just under $3 billion, with demand for non-flammable products ever growing. The compound annual growth rate of this market is estimated at 4% to 5% for the total market up to 2015.
