Thinnest e-reader will target business users
Plastic Logic has just revealed a new electronic reader that is thinner than a pad of paper and lighter than many business periodicals. The nascent electronic reader industry is poised for explosive growth, the Cambridge, UK-headquartered company says, but current products in the category focus on leisure reading and ignore the large and untapped business market. The new Plastic Logic reader is the size of an 8.5 x 11-inch sheet of paper with a big readable display for a high-quality reading experience said to be better than alternatives of paper or other electronic readers on the market.
