New R&D centre and multiple projects for Elmarco

Elmarco has begun construction of a new research and development centre in the North industrial zone of Liberec, Czech Republic. It will cover an area of 1750 square metres and is being built to further progress the development of nanofibre materials in cooperation with leading global companies and international universities and to widen the possible applications of nanofibre technology. “The new research and development facility is co-financed from European Union funds through the OPPI – the Operational Programme for Industry and Innovation,” explained Elmarco executive Ladislav Mares. The total budget for the investment exceeds 190 million Czech crowns (€7.9 million), of which 75 million will come from EU funds.
