New Jersey-based NEI Corporation has been awarded no less than eight Phase 1 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) awards from the US Department of Energy for developing new applications for nano materials. These range from the creation of next-generation battery materials to self-healing anti-corrosion coatings and applications in heat transfer fluids.
