At the end of May, Frenchman Michel Fournier will attempt to drop out of the stratosphere in a free fall jump from an altitude of 130,000 feet - 40 kilometres - above the plains of Saskatchewan, Canada. He will be wearing an astronaut suit specially modified with Advansa's Thermolite performance insulation to deal with temperatures of down to -100C.
