Three different basic technologies for stretchable electronics have now been developed as part of the multi-company EU-backed STELLA project: The Stretchable Copper Board (SCB) is based on a polymer substrate sheet with copper conductors and uses 'standard' PCB (printed circuit board) processes. Different options for covering and embedding are possible.
