Nanocomp Technologies has been awarded a Phase One contract by the US Air Force under the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programme of the Department of Defense. The aim of the project is to develop a new generation of very lightweight, electrically conductive wires, cables and materials made from carbon nanotubes (CNTs).
