    Nano additive extends life of tyres

    Speciality chemicals group Lanxess has developed a new high-performance rubber additive called Nanoprene, which in tyres is said to significantly cut tread. And unlike many other new developments in the tyre rubber sector, the use of this additive to enhance wear resistance does not impact on rolling resistance or wet grip.
