At the ITMA textile machinery show held in Munich, Germany, from 13-20 September, Fleissner exhibited a special spunlace (water entanglement) line which makes two or three-layer composites of splittable PET spunbond fibres with electrospun nanowebs. This results in new synthetic leather materials which are quickly catching on in the garment industry and for automotive applications.
