Teijin plans to boost production of para-aramid fibres

Aims to secure more than half the world market Plants in The Netherlands and Japan to be expanded by 65%

Teijin Ltd of Osaka, Japan, plans to expand production of para-aramid (p-aramid)fibres with the aim of capturing more than 50% of the world market. Under the plan, annual production of Twaron ® p-aramid fibre at Teijin Twaron BV of Arnhem, The Netherlands, will increase by 7500 t to reach 18 500 t by April 2003...
